REBEL G!RRRLS is for women who want to channel their power within the workspace. The collection is designed to amplify the unspoken confidence in women that is too often suppressed in professional settings.
Although these clothes may not change the world, I hope they empower the women who will.
My inspiration for this collection stemmed from the idea that business wear was initially designed exclusively for men. I was particularly inspired by the androgynous movement of the 1940s, when women began wearing men's suits in greater numbers during the absence of men at war.
As I developed this collection, I found myself questioning the standards that define what women can and cannot wear in professional settings.
Who created those standards in the first place? Why can a man wear a tie to work, but a woman cannot wear an oversized bow? Who defines what is considered "professional" for women?
REBEL G!RRLS challenges those conventions by reimagining traditional businesswear through a lens of femininity, strength, and individuality. It invites women to challenge restrictive gender norms within workplace fashion and redefine professional wear on their own terms.
